Valley Symphony Association
Budget Blinds of Montrose/Telluride is honored to support the local, volunteer-driven organization, the Valley Symphony Association. Cheryl Zahniser, the owner of Budget Blinds, serves on the board, furthering our commitment to the community. Established in 1970, the Valley Symphony Association has been a cultural cornerstone, uniting exceptional volunteer musicians from the Uncompahgre, North Fork, Gunnison, and Grand Valleys. Together, they explore and showcase the works of distinguished composers, both classical and contemporary. Their versatile performances span classical orchestral pieces, lively pop, instrumental and choral works, and engaging combinations of both. The Valley Symphony Association is dedicated to preserving the rich legacy of live orchestral and choral music, ensuring it continues to uplift and inspire future generations.
Heart & Home
Heart&Home pursuits included awarding a franchise business worth over $100,000 to a veteran. We partnered with Working Wardrobes to provide job training, placement and wardrobe services to give those in need the chance to take their place in the workforce. Home Franchise Concepts (HFC), parent company of Budget Blinds, has organized food and clothing drives, been involved with Wounded Warriors Canada and Homes for Our Troops.
Home for Our Troops
Budget Blinds, in partnership with Springs Window Fashions, is proud to be the official window coverings supplier for Homes for Our Troops (HFOT), a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to build and donate specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans to enable them to rebuild their lives. Through this partnership we provide custom window coverings and measuring and installation services in every home HFOT builds.
