Andrea and David have been the successful owners of Budget Blinds of Battle Creek and Coldwater since 2017. Andrea is a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Master of Science in Wellness Management, bringing a unique blend of business acumen and wellness expertise to Budget Blinds. David’s background includes a B.S. in Geology from Indiana University, an MBA from Ball State University, and a successful career as a manufacturer’s sales representative across Canada and the Midwest. Originally from Indiana, the two fell in love with the lake lifestyle and moved to Michigan permanently in 2019. They were driven to start their franchise by their passion for entrepreneurship and their desire to shape their own future. Their favorite part of owning a Budget Blinds franchise is helping customers bring their design visions to life and building lasting relationships within the community. Outside of work, you’ll find them spending time with family, traveling, enjoying the outdoors, playing euchre, boating, and spending time with their dog, Indy.

Devin has been part of the Budget Blinds team for four years, working as an installer since graduating from high school in 2020. He originally stepped into this profession looking for something new, and thanks to David and Andrea giving him the opportunity, it quickly became a job he truly enjoys. What he loves most is the variety each day brings and the great customers he gets to meet along the way. Outside of work, you’ll usually find him playing pickleball with friends, out shooting photography, exploring new hiking spots, or spending time with his cat, Miss Doris.

Logan earned her associate’s degree in Liberal Arts in 2019 and plans to attend Western Michigan University to pursue a degree in Interior Design. Design has always been one of her biggest passions, so when a position opened up with Andrea and David—longtime friends who knew her love for all things home and décor—she knew it was the perfect fit. She brings genuine enthusiasm to every project and loves helping clients bring their vision to life. Building relationships and offering warm, personalized customer service is one of her favorite parts of the job. Outside of work, Logan enjoys rearranging and decorating her own home (God bless her husband), helping friends and family with design projects, and spending time with her sweet family: her husband Joe, their son Dash, and their two dogs, Scout and Charlie. She loves traveling out west, thrifting vintage treasures, going to concerts, staying active, and advocating for animals.

Blake Newton has been part of the Budget Blinds team for years, long before officially stepping into his role as Office Administrator. After graduating from High School in 2019, he transitioned naturally into the position, building on the data entry and organizational work he began as a teenager while helping his parents run their Budget Blinds business. With four years of administrative experience, Blake supports daily operations through customer service, scheduling, and document management. He enjoys the opportunity to work closely with his family while continuing to grow his professional skills. The flexibility of working from home has also allowed him to maintain a healthy work‑life balance. Outside of work, Blake spends his time playing video games, reading, repairing old gaming equipment, and traveling on weekends to visit close friends.
