Heart&Home pursuits included awarding a franchise business worth over $100,000 to a veteran. We partnered with Working Wardrobes to provide job training, placement and wardrobe services to give those in need the chance to take their place in the workforce. Home Franchise Concepts (HFC), parent company of Budget Blinds, has organized food and clothing drives, been involved with Homes for Our Troops.
Home for Our Troops
1Budget Blinds, in partnership with Springs Window Fashions, is proud to be the official window coverings supplier for Homes for Our Troops (HFOT), a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to build and donate specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans to enable them to rebuild their lives. Through this partnership we provide custom window coverings and measuring and installation services in every home HFOT builds.
Animal Rescue Project
Animal Rescue Project focuses on saving at-risk pets in pound facilities and overcrowded shelters. Their mission is to rescue homeless pets one at a time, provide the medical care and safe temporary homes they need, and offer responsible adoption services that place them with loving, lifelong families. As well as work to raise awareness and promote humane, compassionate treatment of animals helping create brighter futures for pets in need.
Serve 4 Kids
Serve for Kids supports the children’s programs at Community Healing Centers. This is an annual event that raises awareness and funds to treat and prevent all forms of child abuse, from child sexual abuse to negligence, in Southwest Michigan.
Generous Hands
Generous Hands, Inc. is a small, non-profit organization, based in Vicksburg, Michigan, committed to helping families in time of need. The mission of Generous Hands is to benefit hungry children by strengthening their physical, emotional, nutritional and educational well-being.
