Dan Pate
Owner
Dan grew up in Alabama and moved away after high school graduation to West Point, New York where he attended the United States Military Academy. After graduating in 2007, he spent nearly eight years in the Army. He then moved to Virginia to attend graduate school in Charlottesville at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Upon graduation, he moved to Richmond and resides in RVA today with his girlfriend, Olivia; dog, Marlene; and cat, Ozzy. In 2021, he became a proud owner of the Budget Blinds of Henrico territory and is very excited and proud to provide window coverings to our community!

Kelsey is a recent graduate of Appalachian State University with 7 years of experience working in sales positions and 4 seasons of leadership experience working for the Town of Nags Head’s Ocean Rescue Division. With a personal background in the arts and professional commitment to human services, she is happy to help you outfit your home as a representative of Budget Blinds!

Meet George, a hardworking management and design professional. George has experience in hospitality, insurance, marketing, design and security - he is a creator and problem-solver at heart dedicated to streamlining operations. George is a graduate of Appalachian State where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and played for the University's football program.

Tom Shaw
Lead Installer, Chester
Tom was born in Arkansas, but have lived in Texas, Missouri, Kansas, New York, South Carolina, and Virginia. He was in the Air Force for 8 years and served in the Vietnam War in 1972. Tom worked as a pipe fitter and welder for 32 years and owned his own business for 10 years. Tom has 5 sons, 4 grandchildren and a great granddaughter. He hasn't found a rocking chair that fits just yet, because he loves people and installing their window treatments!
