With the top-down feature as well as a number of control options to choose from, roman shades are an easy ‘yes’. Romans can be done with the cordless feature, corded control, rechargeable battery-powered wand, or motorization – the opportunities are endless! There are room-darkening fabrics available as well as room-darkening liners to make almost any fabric work.

Roman Shades are on the higher end of the budget scale, but well worth the investment. There aren’t many options that will top the softness, elegance, and timeless look of a roman shade. And they’ll last for years to come. You can expend to invest $400 or more on a small window, and around $1,800+ for a big picture window. SAFETY
Roman blinds can be very pet and child safe when the right options are chosen. These shades now come with an optional cordless upgrade, where you simply push up or pull down using a ring on the back of the shade to operate it.
