Why Budget Blinds of Airdrie

Kari graduated from the University of Alberta with a Chemical Engineering Degree. After University he worked in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries. The Budget Blinds opportunity initially began in Regina, where Kari & Mandy ran a successful location there for nearly 3 years. However, as time passed on, they started to miss their family and friends back home in Alberta. In early 2010, they received a life changing phone call, and by September of 2010, they were the proud owners of Budget Blinds of Airdrie. They currently reside in Airdrie with their 3 beautiful daughters. Kari's passions outside of work include golf, spending time with friends/family at the lake, and continuous professional growth in business and investing. Kari has been involved in the City of Airdrie's Smart Start program for new entrepenuers as he loves helping new business owners to get off to a great start. 

Mandy graduated from the University of Alberta with a Mechanical Engineering Degree. After University she worked in the Petrochemical industry. The Budget Blinds opportunity surfaced at the same time as Mandy was pregnant with her first baby.  Kari & Mandy decided to take the plunge into entrepenuership and the new business brought the couple to Regina, where they ran an successful location there for nearly 3 years. However, as time passed on, they started to miss their family and friends back home. In early 2010, they received a life changing phone call, and by September of 2010, they were the proud owners of Budget Blinds of Airdrie. They currently reside in Airdrie with their 3 beautiful daughters. Outside of business, Mandy is passionate about most sports & yoga. She loves spending time with her friends/family and also loves help other business owners with their own businesses. She has a passion for design and knows intimately how effective new window coverings can be for changing the whole look and feel in your home! 

Jodie is the Quarterback of our entire operation! She makes sure the team is organized and prepared for their day ahead. She may be the first voice you hear when you call our Airdrie Office, and will certainly be the one to help you through any service or warranty issues you may have after your new blinds are installed! Jodie's dedication to our customers and our staff is beyond compare and she is an absolute delight to work with on a daily basis. When she is not busy raising her 2 boys, she can be found dominating the pool table in her weekly pool league, or on the ball diamond!

Justin is our "Silent MacGyver"! He will be in and out of your home with your window coverings installed perfectly in a flash. His attention to detail and ability to solve any unforeseen challenges on the spot are unmatched. 

Deidre comes to us from a background of early childhood education, office management, and administrative support. 

She is an amazing addition to our team! She will likely be the first friendly voice you hear when calling into our office. Deidre is passionate about ensuring that we are a good fit to help you in the best way with your window covering project.
