Building Owners and Manager Association, Greater Tampa Bay (BOMA, GTB)

As owner of Budget Blinds of Tarpon Springs and Dunedin, Robert Emmerson has been a proud member of BOMA, GTB (Building Owners and Manager Association, Greater Tampa Bay) since 2008. The organization has a very broad mission and participates in advocacy, education, and best practices for property managers to name a few items in its purview. Robert served on the executive board of BOMA, GTB for four years and remains active in the organization’s activities. A monthly luncheon is held for the members featuring a guest speaker who can offer information valuable to this unique group. Mayor Bob Buckhorn (Right) was one such speaker and the man with whom Robert (Left) is pictured.

 

USF Unstoppable Gala at Amalie Arena

We were thrilled to attend the University of South Florida Unstoppable Gala in which the University celebrated reaching their endowment goal of one billion dollars! Budget Blinds of Tarpon Springs and Dunedin is a huge supporter of USF!

Dishes and Wishes Fundraiser

Budget Blinds of Central Tampa, Tarpon Springs, and Dunedin was a proud participant of the Make a Wish Foundation’s Dishes and Wishes Fundraiser. The 22nd Annual event features a festive evening bringing participants gourmet tastings from 15 of the area’s most sought-after restaurants. With attendance of over 600, guests enjoyed delicious food and drink, an exclusive Live Auction, a dazzling performance by Phase 5, and the evening featured the story of Jordan, a local teenager who recently at the opportunity to meet Derek Jeter. The event raised more than $216,000 to benefit Make-A-Wish Southern Florida. The amount raised will help grant the wishes of 27 Tampa-area children who have critical illnesses.
