Woven Wood Shades Cleaning Checklist
You’ll only need three things to clean these bad boys up:
- Vacuum with brush attachment
- Dusting Spray
- Microfiber cloth
First you’ll take the vacuum and hose attachment to suck up any dust from the crevices in the woven wood shades. By the nature of their construction, there are a lot of crevices. Simply use the brush attachment, moving it across the woven wood gently.
After you’ve used the vacuum it’s time to use a microfiber cloth and either a dusting pray or polish. Remember to spray any polish on the cloth first, then wipe down the wood surfaces, rather than the other way around.
Note: Never use water or harsh cleaners on your woven wood shades. The cleaners can damage the materials or cause discoloration while wate can cause the wood to warp, even minutely, leading to problems down the line.
With all that settled you should have everything you need to enjoy your new woven wood shades for some time to come!
