Lutron
We have talked about Lutron in the past, but let’s briefly cover them again. Lutron started in the late 50s when founder Joel Spira developed the solid state dimmer dial. Just like that, lights went from having only two options (On / Off) to a whole spectrum of levels of brightness. They have kept that innovative spirit going ever since. Lutron has since developed smart shades and powerful automation options.

For the most part, they don’t require any new wiring! Larger shades can only be done with a low voltage power supply, but luckily low voltage is much easier to wire than 110/120 volt.

With branches throughout Europe, America, Asia, and Australia, and over 23,000 employees, Hunter Douglas is one of the largest brands out there and they use their prodigious size to push the industry forward!
According to them, they start every window treatment process with design. Often collaborating with architects at the drawing board stage all the way through to develop new window solutions that innovate.

Based out of Illinois, Horizons Window Fashions has a storied history. We’ll let them tell it:

While Horizons doesn’t have the same breadth of products as say Hunter Douglas, they have honed their offerings to the finest standard.
