Why Budget Blinds of Oregon Coast

If Budget Blinds of the Oregon Coast had a ringmaster, head cheerleader, and air traffic controller all rolled into one, that’d be Alix McQuade. As co-owner and Operations Manager, she keeps the show running smoothly. Juggling schedules, cheering on her team, and making sure every home we visit feels a little brighter by the time we leave.

When she’s not running the coast’s favorite window treatment circus, Alix is out exploring it, usually with her husband (and fellow owner) Tony and their son, Maximus. You’ll find them hiking forest trails, digging for clams, or pulling off an impromptu beach picnic just because the sunset looked too good to waste.

Originally from Denver, Alix has fully traded mountains for ocean views, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. Her energy, warmth, and love for this community shine through in every detail of life at Budget Blinds of the Oregon Coast.

If there were an Olympic event for solving tricky window challenges, Tony would have a gold medal (and probably design the medal display case himself). As co-owner and Design Consultant at Budget Blinds of the Oregon Coast, he’s got a sharp eye for pairing style with function; especially when it comes to the unique windows and wild weather that coastal homes are famous for.

When he’s not helping clients turn their design dreams into reality, you’ll find Tony outside soaking up the coastal life he loves; skiing when there’s snow, golfing when there’s sun, and exploring Oregon’s rugged beauty with his wife, Alix, and their son, Max.

Calm, creative, and a total pro at what he does, Tony brings both expertise and easygoing charm to every project, because great design should feel effortless.

Josh brings a happy, can-do spirit to everything he does. When he's not keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, you might find him out rockhounding for hidden gems or spending time with his two cats. With his friendly energy, attention to detail, and knack for great communication (he even knows some ASL!), Josh makes sure every customer experience shines. 

With the warmth of an uncle to 15 and the patience of a dedicated crocheter, Parker brings friendly professionalism to every customer intercation. When he's not helping with clients with a smile, he's likely adding to his ever growing library of 100+ books or working on his latest crochet project. Parker's thoughtful nature and commitment to great service make every experience seamless and welcoming. 

Despite his name, Duce is the youngest of five and brings a calm, confident professionalism to every project. When he’s not ensuring installations run seamlessly, he enjoys spending time with his son and relaxing with a bit of cross-stitch or other projects. With years of experience and a dedication to top-notch customer service, Duce makes sure every job is done with care and precision.
