Owner Charlie Utz, has been in the window covering industry for over 18 years. As owner of two Budget Blinds franchises that serve Morehead City, New Bern and Greenville North Carolina, Charlie has established a strong team of Design Consultants, Customer Service Staff and Professional Installers. His team works closely with the leading window fashion suppliers to provide the highest level of products, services and warranties. His projects include East Carolina University, Vidant Health, WITN-TV, Craven County Schools and Crystal Coast Civic Center. Budget Blinds of Morehead City, New Bern and Greenville specialize in Motorized Shades, Home Automation, Plantation Shutters, and many other interior products. They also have a full service line of exterior products including Hurricane Protection Shutters and exterior screens.  

Mary is the wife and partner of Charlie Utz. She joined the Budget Blinds of Morehead City, New Bern and Greenville team after a 30 year career in banking where she served as a Human Resources Consultant. Mary is a graduate of North Carolina State University. Mary and Charlie have two wonderful children and a Golden Retriever. Mary enjoys traveling and being on and around the water.   

Caroline joined the Budget Blinds of Morehead City, New Bern and Greenville Team in August 2022. She has brought great energy and passion to our team! Caroline is a firm believer in the power of relationships and is here to ensure that our clients and partners feel like they're part of our extended family.  Caroline is newly married to a wonderful husband and has 3 labs. She enjoys being on their boat and taking the dogs to the beach. 

Will is the Operations Manager for Budget Blinds of Morehead City, New Bern and Greenville. Will is a Graduate of Appalachian State University, an excellent drummer and an Eagle Scout. He recently married his wonderful wife and has two dogs. 

Brittany serves as the Showroom Coordinator and Receptionist at Budget Blinds, where she brings a bright smile and a positive attitude to every interaction. With a passion for customer service, Brittany enjoys assisting clients by providing information and product knowledge, helping them find the perfect window treatments for their homes. Her expertise and friendly demeanor create a welcoming atmosphere in the showroom.

Fiona coordinates the placement of orders and vendor communication for Budget Blinds of Morehead City, New Bern and Greenville. She works closely with all vendors to coordinate the manufacturing and delivery of products. Fiona is a vetran of the US Army. She has been married for nine years and has two children and one adorable grand-child. She enjoys fishing, kayaking and traveling. 

Jodi Yurick is the Sales Administrator of Budget Blinds of Morehead City, New Bern and Greenville. For the past 10 years, she has been an integral part of Budget Blinds' success and growth. She has a wonderful husband of eight years and five children.

Matt Thomas has been with Budget Blinds for over 11 years and is our Senior Design Consultant.  His expertise and enthusiasm for creating the perfect look in your home has allowed him to be regonized as a national top design expert. Matt has built a following throughout Eastern North Carolina. Whether your home is under construction or undergoing renovations, or if you want to update your look with shutters, shades or blinds, Matt will be glad to help you. 

Jeff Wilkins joined the Budget Blinds of Greenville, New Bern and Morehead City team in 2017 as a Design Consultant. Although he is originally from Oxford, NC he now lives in Greenville, NC. Jeff is an expert in all types and styles of window coverings including blinds, shades, and plantation shutters. He is active in the Pitt County Home Builders Association and the Greenville Chamber of Commerce as well as other civic groups. He enjoys getting to know individual customers and helping them get the perfect product to enhance their home. Jeff has two children and likes to spend his free time fishing and at the beach. 

Johanna Brinkley has been a valued member of the Budget Blinds team since October 2023, serving as a dedicated Design Consultant. With a passion for helping clients transform their spaces, she brings creativity and attention to detail to every project. Outside of work, Johanna enjoys quality time with her husband and their two young boys, making memories with family and friends.

Danny Long is the Lead Installer for Budget Blinds of Morehead City, New Bern and Greenville. Prior to joining Budget Blinds, Danny had a 12 year career as a fabricator and installer of Hurricane Protection and Exterior Products. He is proficient in installing all types of interior and exterior products as well as the programming and operation of motorized solutions. Danny has a wonderful wife and is the father of five. 

Eric has been with the Budget Blinds of Morehead City, New Bern and Greenville Installation Team for over three years. He enjoys working with our customers and always has positive energy. In his off time he enjoys hiking and spending time with his family.  

Jared is a member of the Budget Blinds of Morehead City, New Bern and Greenville Installation Team. He enjoys meeting our customers and always has positive energy. When he is not working, Jared spends time with his twin girls and playing golf. 

Josh has been with the Budget Blinds of Morehead City, New Bern and Greenville Installation team for over five years. He is also our Warehouse Coordinator and is responsible to receiving and organizing deliveries. When Josh is not at work, he enjoys disc golf and spending time with his dog. 

Michael Teabo is a member of Budget Blinds of Morehead City, New Bern and Greenville Installation Team. He enjoys meeting our customers and always has a positive outlook towards work and life. He enjoys his time away from work playing disc golf and being outdoors. 

Mike Wade is a skilled Budget Blinds Installer with a strong background in construction, specializing in finishing work. His expertise in this area is a valuable asset when it comes to installing window treatments with precision and attention to detail. Mike is dedicated to providing exceptional service and ensuring that each installation meets our high standards of quality and aesthetics. His commitment to customer satisfaction and his extensive knowledge of various products make him an integral part of our team.
