Why Budget Blinds of Lexington and Chapin

Chris Petty became the Owner of Budget Blinds of Lexington and Chapin in 2015. Originally a resident of Northeast Columbia, Chris has lived in Lexington since 2011. He is happily married to his wife, Justine, and the proud father of two children, a son, Jack and daughter, Kate, as well as a Beagle-Sheppard named Bella. Chris attended The Citadel where he majored in Accounting, and received his Masters in International Relations from Troy University. He was named the 2015 Young Professional of the Year by the Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Center, and Budget Blinds Rookie of the Year in 2015. In his spare time he enjoys working out, playing golf, Gamecock football, and travelling. An Eagle Scout, as well as an Artillery Captain in the Army, Chris is no stranger to being in leadership roles. His most helpful attribute; however, is that he was a Budget Blinds client before becoming an owner. Chris Petty’s experience as a client, as well as his abilities to relate with others and problem solve, poise him perfectly to be the continually successful Owner of Budget Blinds of Lexington and Chapin!

Erik has been a part of the Budget Blinds family since 2016 in many different capacities including installations and project management. Most recently, he joined Budget Blinds of Lexington & Chapin in 2022 as our design consultant helping families select the right window coverings for the right situation. Erik continues to use his experience as an installer to make the best choice on how window treatments can and should be mounted in a wide variety of mounting situations in a client’s home. His favorite aspect of working with our team is having the chance to meet new people every day and connect with clients and view their unique homes. Erik’s favorite window coverings to sell and install are motorized roller shades for the ease of use and the way they transform the client’s space.

Erik was born and raised in Winnsboro, SC. He lives in Irmo with his wife, Kelsey, and their daughter, Kaelyn. They are active members of Chapin Christian Community Church is Chapin, SC. In his free time, Erik enjoys vacationing with family and friends.
