Thanksgiving Decor Ideas
Thanksgiving is around the corner and it’s never too early to start planning. As the weather cools down, adding some warm colors will make your home feel nice and cozy.
Table setting
A beautiful table setting is a nice way to welcome your guests to enjoy a tasty meal. We recommend using neutral tones to complement the rest of your home’s décor, like gold chargers under the plates. Here’s a fun, simple idea: Tie your cloth napkins in string and then tuck a sprig of greenery and a stick of cinnamon. Another fun idea is purchasing mini pumpkins of all colors and sizes to place on each table setting. Write the names of your guests on each pumpkin with a paint pen, tie a small bow on the stem with a festive ribbon and you are good to go!
Centerpiece
The table is going to fill with food soon enough so you don’t need to do go over-the-top with a centerpiece. Try using white candles tucked into antique brass candlesticks and a bay leaf garland around it, and a few small pumpkins complete the piece.
Flowers/branches
Bring some of the outdoors inside by incorporating branches, leaves and other wildflowers/plants to create floral arrangements. Grab some leaves and branches from your own backyard to keep it budget-friendly. Place on your coffee table, side table, mantel, or in your kitchen for your family and friends to enjoy.
Desserts
This is the piece that really brings the table and meal all together - dessert! Get a tiered pie stand to display and serve all the delicious desserts. A tiered pie stand works well to display pies, bite-sized desserts on a platter, cookies, etc. So whatever your guests bring, it will look great.
