My husband and I bought our first new home in June 2010. We were overwhelmed with the amount of things to be taken care of in a new house, including 18 bare windows! I immediately contacted a well known local blind company, but was appalled by their poor customer service and lack of professionalism. Frustrated, I filled in an on-line brochure request form from Budget Blinds and it arrived hand delivered by owner Jospeh Leung less than two hours later! Now that's service! During our first meeting, Joseph walked me through different window treatment options, patiently answering questions and offering suggestions that I hadn't thought of. I liked that Joseph was happy to explain both the advantages AND disadvantages of different window treatments and was extremely knowledgeable about the safety and cleaning needs of a family with young toddlers. He wasn't bothered by my indecisiveness, and happily provided me with professional and clear window by window cost estimates for a range of different treatments. He even installed temporary blinds throughout my house at no charge, while I made decisions at my own pace. We currently have roller shades, wood and faux wood blinds installed on the upper level of the house and have been very happy with our choice. The installation was completed quickly and left absolutely zero mess for me to clean up afterwards. We were extremely pleased with the overall service provided by Joseph from Budget Blinds of Toronto North. As other testimonials indicate, Joseph brings great expertise and a soft sell manner that, in the end ensures that an excellent product at great value is obtained. In our case, we were presented with two challenges: a two story south-facing bank of windows (light and heat +++) and a large arched window in the living room. In each case, Joseph analysed the challenges, offered and showed us options for each, and ultimately recommended (through a consensus agreement!) the best product for each job. We absolutely love the cellular shades that we chose for the south-facing windows. They are aesthetically appealing and very functional; we notice that the heat in that family room is much less this summer, and I know our air conditioning expenses will be less, despite the recent heat wave! We are also very pleased with the arched panels now adorning our large living room windows; they look beautiful and no doubt add a level of sophistication and beauty to our home, both inside and out.
