Jordan Almond Wreath
We love this colorful wreath that can be hung on your front door, over a mirror or on a wall. Egg-shaped Jordan almonds make an extra sweet spring decoration. First, you will need a 12-inch Styrofoam wreath. Beginning with the inside circumference, hot-glue the almonds in place, overlapping a few of them to add dimension. Continue in a circular pattern until the entire wreath is covered in Jordan almonds. Add a festive ribbon and it is ready to hang!
Every home needs a couple of Easter bunnies around the house and these spoon puppets are easy to create and adorable to look at! Begin by painting the spoons with white or grey acrylic paint, leave
to dry completely. Cut out ears from grey or white felt and then cut the inner ear pieces and nose from pink felt. Glue the pink inner ear onto the outer ear and leave to dry. Glue the ears to the back of the spoon, then glue the felt nose and wiggly eyes onto the center of the spoon. Add a cute smile and dots for whiskers using a black pen.
Easter Bunny Napkins
Dress up your Easter brunch table with these adorable and colorful napkins (made with a free printable!) Download the bunny printable and print onto iron sheets designed for light fabrics. Cut the bunnies into long strips. Iron any wrinkles out of your napkins, then place your strips face down side by side along the length of your napkin. Iron on according to instructions of your iron on paper. Handstitch the pom trim on the underside of the napkin, along the same edge as the bunnies. Make sure when stitching that your needle does not poke all the way through the napkin. You want the stitches to be on the inside of the existing border seam to hide the thread. These napkins have us hopping with joy they are so cute!
Rainbow Water Centerpiece
Bring color to your Easter table in less than five minutes! Just add a drop of food coloring to each glass vase for the perfect pastel color. Add a daisy or two to each vase and you have a beautiful table centerpiece. It’s that simple!
Paint Chip Easter Egg Garland
Do you have paint chips lying around the house from the last home improvement project? Repurpose them as colorful Easter eggs! If not, you can easily pick them up at your local hardware store and pick out your perfect color scheme. If they have four colors per card, simply cut them in half eliminating all white except for the line between the two-color shades. We love how the white line in the middle of the paint chip mimics the look of a plastic egg. You can use this to print and cut out an egg template. String them together and you have an Easter egg garland! We love the idea of stringing it across a chalkboard sign saying, “Happy Easter” and placed on the porch. This easy homemade decoration provides a warm welcome.
These simple DIY Easter decorations have us dreaming in pastel! These colorful, fun and easy projects are sure to be a hit with crafters of all ages.
