Why Budget Blinds of Charlotte

Mark and his wife Linda are the owners of Budget Blinds of Charlotte, and they have enjoyed serving the community for nearly 20 years with excellent customer service and exceptional product choices. They love working and managing the family business with their two sons, Kyle and Kevin. They have three children, and 7 grandchildren…all boys!

Fun Facts to get to know Mark and Linda: They love spending quality time with their children and seven grandchildren. They enjoy traveling and cruising, working around the house and watching good shows.

Another fun fact about Mark and Linda is they met at McDonalds while working their way through college. Favorite restaurants around Charlotte include BrickTops, Link and Pin, and Burger 21.

Kyle is one of the owners of Budget Blinds of Charlotte. He serves as general manager along with his brother, Kevin, and oversees most of our large commercial accounts and interior designer clientele. He and his wife, Amie, have four children …Noah (7), Dylan (4), Luke (2), and Kylie (1). They also have four cats…Ernie, Rocky, Sadie and Riley.

Fun Facts to get to know Kyle: He has lived in California and Arizona as a child but has lived in North Carolina most his life…Matthews, Greenville, Raleigh, Winston-Salem, and now Indian Trail. He attended East Carolina University and majored in Business Management. His hobbies include swimming, riding bikes with his children, hiking, reading, and spending time with his family. One place he would love to visit is Hawaii.

Kevin is one of the owners of Budget Blinds of Charlotte. He serves as general manager along with his brother, Kyle, and oversees our sales team. He and his wife, Sarah, have a dog named Marlo, and two cats named Luna and Midge. They live in the SouthPark area in Charlotte.

Fun Facts to get to know Kevin: Kevin served our country in the Marine Corps for four years before working with his family at Budget Blinds. His hobbies include golfing, skateboarding, biking, kayaking, and hiking. One place he would love to visit is South Korea. His favorite restaurant in Charlotte is Yunta.

Patrick is our Operations Manager. He oversees all aspects of installations scheduling and general operations of our business. He has an eye for detail and is always striving to exceed customer expectations. He and his wife, Kacey, have a daughter named Leilani. They have 2 dogs...Yogi and Zeus.

Fun Facts to get to know Patrick: He is a Charlotte native, living here all his life. He attended University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His hobbies are competing in obstacle course races (Spartan and Tough mudders), working out, spending time with his family and traveling. Favorite quote: “Courage is not the absence of fear but rather the assessment that something else is more important than fear” -Franklin D Roosevelt

Matthew is on our Sales/Design Team. He provides excellent customer care by tailoring window treatments to the specific style his clients are looking for. He is focused on customer satisfaction and his clients are very confident with his attention to detail and his eye for design. He specializes in motorization/automated/smart home window treatments, all types of shades (including roller shades, honeycomb shades, woven wood natural shades, and roman shades), faux and real wood blinds, and plantation shutters.

Fun Facts to get to know Matthew: Matthew was born in Atlanta, GA and now resides in Charlotte, NC. His favorite sports team is the Charlotte Hornets. Matthew’s favorite movie is Forgetting Sarah Marshall. A list of his hobbies includes disc golf, soccer, listening to great music and spending time with friends, and his dog, Boone.

He's a member of our Professional Installation Team, which means there's a good chance you'll get to see him on the job.

One of the things that makes Tyler amazing in this role is that he's such a personable guy, someone who really enjoys working with our clients and bringing them the satisfaction they can expect from Budget Blinds of Charlotte. Tyler pursues excellence in his work, and he has an exacting eye for detail, which helps him provide our customers with an outstanding installation experience. He also has several years of experience in residential and commercial window treatment products, which gives him the skills and knowledge to take on all projects, big or small.

Among fun facts about Tyler, he hails from Rock Hill, South Carolina, although these days, he calls Charlotte his home. He enjoys work and meeting all the new people who come in to our location, but when he's not here, he also loves spending time with his family and hanging out with his friends.

Terry is our Scheduling Assistant and works diligently as the sole point of contact to organize the scheduling of in-home consultation appointments for both new and repeat customers. She has many years of experience working in the customer service industry. From the initial contact, she brings such a friendly and thoughtful engagement with each customer.

Fun Facts to get to know Terry: She has lived in Southern California, Dubuque IA, Phoenix, AZ, Las Vegas NV, and Bentonville AR. She loves to read, travel, hike and enjoys quilting. She is planning some traveling this year to Costa Rica, Hawaii, Yellowstone, and Mount Rushmore. Something Terry has done before but never wants to do again is put up wallpaper! If you’ve ever put-up wallpaper, you know the struggle is real. Her favorite quote is “You’re a Daisy if you do” taken from the infamous Doc Holliday.

A Charlotte native, Sarah also works as a Registered Nurse when she isn't busy being an amazing Office Manager. Outside of work, she loves traveling, the outdoors, and is a huge foodie. She and her husband Kevin enjoy trying new restaurants around Charlotte.
