Surrey Food Bank
Budget Blinds of Surrey South has been actively working with the Surrey Food Bank and sending employees to work with food distribution once a month. We are proud to pay our employees while they volunteer while helping to promotes community and friendship with the neighbourhoods we service!
Supporting Local Blood Drives
Three members of our staff make it a tradition to do local Blood Drives with the Canadian Blood Services. We support all of our staff to donate, and enjoy how much closer this brings our team to one another.
Chamber of Commerce Members
We really enjoy in being involved with our local Chamber of Commerce. It keeps us connected to the community and other business owners in our regions, and allows us to sponsor the amazing events they do every year, such as Canada Day at the Bay, which we have done the past two years. We love seeing the community come together and celebrate!
Heart & Home
Heart&Home pursuits included awarding a franchise business worth over $100,000 to a veteran. We partnered with Working Wardrobes to provide job training, placement and wardrobe services to give those in need the chance to take their place in the workforce. Home Franchise Concepts (HFC), parent company of Budget Blinds, has organized food and clothing drives, been involved with Wounded Warriors Canada and Homes for Our Troops.
