Happy Holidays From Budget Blinds of Scottsdale and Fountain Hills!
Can you believe we’re saying ‘happy holidays’ already? We can’t! Each year seems to fly by faster than the previous one. And as we wrap up 2022, we couldn’t be more grateful for our clients and customers. It’s been a fantastic year for us and we are so looking forward to what 2023 will bring.
It’s our mission to always bring our customers the best.
The best value.
The best quality.
And the very best customer service possible.
And delivering the best in every capacity also means providing worth-while content on our blog to steer our clients in the right direction. We understand that purchasing custom rugs, drapes, and different types of window treatments can be a journey.
That journey is one of our most favorite things! But for the customer, it can feel daunting at first. That’s why we’ve published how-tos and other guide-like information for the services, products, and design spheres we worth within — to help you make the best decision possible.
As we say goodbye to 2022, we are looking back on the year of our blogs and what we’ve offered our customers content wise. The following is a quick runthrough of the most impactful pieces of content we’ve published over this last year.
A 2022 Blog Recap
In November we discussed colors of the year for 2023. This blog walks readers through the popular paint predictions set forth by Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore. Both companies predicted wildly different colors as the paint palette of 2023. Check out the blog to see the differences!
In October we discussed farmhouse decor and if the design was still in style. In short? Yes, farmhouse decor is still very much a thing. However, traditional farmhouse interior design has been influenced by modern industrial quite a bit. We love how new-age design has taken hold of an old style of decor and made it fresh and fun. Learn what remains and what is new for modern farmhouse decor.
October was also the month that we celebrated 30 years of business! We are so proud of the blog “Celebrating 30 Years of Design, Innovation & Expertise!”, and the recount of all the years we’ve spent serving you. The blog walks readers through our journey as a company and how we got to where we are today. It’s a beautiful piece of work that brings us great joy. We hope you’ll take a moment to read it!
September’s content was surprising for some. We published a very interesting read on why plantation shutters actually make great treatments for sliding glass doors. Although the combination of sliding glass doors and plantation shutters might not be popularly thought of, designers are using the combo more and more. We dive into why that is in the blog and all the reasons the pairing could work for your home.
June and July’s blogs were incredibly special to us.
Since 2014, Budget Blinds has been a corporate sponsor of HFOT, “Homes For Our Troops”. HFOT provides homes to veterans (9/11 and on) who have suffered extreme injuries such as multiple amputations, full or partial paralysis, traumatic brain injury (TBI), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), burns, and impairment of vision and hearing while serving in the military. The homes HFOT creates are adapted to the disabled veterans' specific needs.
As the exclusive sponsor of all things window coverings for HFOT, with support from our manufacturing partners Spring Window Fashions, in July we were able to give LCPL Honaker and his fiancée Rachael a new, mortgage-free home. The home was completely adapted to his needs, with zero cost to him. This would not have been possible without the Budget Blinds franchise owners across the country. Budget Blinds nationwide dedicated countless hours to install custom faux wood blinds in each home built with HFOT.
Serving the veterans in our communities is one of our greatest accomplishments and we truly could not be more proud.
June’s blog was all about the 50th and 51st home HFOT has finalized in Texas. This is a huge accomplishment for our franchise owners, partners, HFOT, and of course the veterans who get their newly adapted homes. In this blog we introduce Army Specialist Johnny Nguyen and talk about his story. It’s a deeply moving blog that reminds us all why home is so, so important.
Happy Holidays from Budget Blinds
