For over 20 years Kathy’s passion and focus have been on a career in interior home design and window treatments. In the Bay Area she launched her career working as a design consultant creating closet systems. As a fast learner, she perfected her customer service skills and quickly became a master of the in-home consultation. Kathy’s diligence and determination assisted her in landing a position at Home Depot as a Home Design Consultant. She excelled while expanding her experience in window covering applications. Her reputation grew and as the demand for her services increased, customers would willingly wait until she was available. Following two successful years with Home Depot, Kathy became a sales account manager for a window covering manufacturer and Budget Blinds was her most significant account. With extensive experience and knowledge of the window covering industry, she became responsible for one of the largest territories in the Bay Area winning many awards for achieving top sales. When the opportunity arose to purchase Budget Blinds of Monterey County, she was finally able to realize her ambitions and make her dream come true. To work and live near the ocean was her lifelong dream and Budget Blinds is a highly regarded company. It was a perfect match! Kathy loves living in Monterey County, the people are friendly and the scenery is beautiful.

Kathy loves taking walks on the beach in Pacific Grove, camping in Big Sur, and taking pictures of the idyllic scenery at Pebble Beach. She loves having visitors and playing the role of tour guide, as she helps them explore Monterey and Carmel-By-The-Sea. She has two grandchildren and adores taking them to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Her favorite hobbies are whale watching and kayaking in the Monterey Bay, flying kites at Marina Beach, and wine tasting in Carmel Valley. Kathy is an experienced designer in the window treatment industry and she’s looking forward to working with you in the future.
