Why Budget Blinds of Lubbock North

After going to college on a rodeo scholarship Bobby graduated from Eastern New Mexico University with a degree in business and a minor in finance. Together with his wife they went to work in a network of family businesses. For the past 15 plus years Bobby is an owner of Ashley Furniture in Portales and Clovis. With Bobby’s keen eye for numbers and financials he was excited to start Budget Blinds with his wife, sister-in-law, and brother-in-law. He is a proud father of 2 girls and excited to raise them in family businesses and continue the legacy. 

Cassidy Self has always had a passion and vision for design with clear set intentions she graduated college in 3 years from Eastern New Mexico University to immediately start working within the family furniture store. Today Cassidy is the owner of Ashley Furniture Homestore in Portales and Clovis New Mexico. Her passion for interior design and ability to transform even the most challenging spaces into something beautiful makes her a great fit for Budget Blinds. She was thrilled to start this new venture with her husband, sister and brother-in-law. Cassidy is the proud mother of one son and is looking forward to teaching him about honesty and work ethic through the value of small business. 

Rustin Self was raised around the Christian Children’s home with a family whose passion was helping kids in their community. After attending Eastern New Mexico University with a focus on business, he chose to stay in the community he grew up in and carry on that passion. He is the owner of Ace Hardware and loves helping customers and helping his team. Budget Blinds seemed like a great next step to expand the family businesses. He was excited to take on the challenge alongside his wife, sister in law, and brother in law. Rustin is the proud father of one son and can’t wait to raise him in the family businesses. 

After growing up in a small town and graduating from New Mexico State University, Joli was ready for more. Full of passion and drive Joli O'Byrne was determined to bring something amazing to our team! Not only does she bring the amazing factor, Joli brings a level of leadership, teamwork and passion unlike many others. Not only does she provide this to our team, she shares those traits with our customers. 

With a go-getter attiude, Joli strives for the best. She is ready to bring forth the best customer service and high quality spunk to each new friend she meets.
