We Care About You and Our Community
2023 CASA Fundraiser
We are thrilled to have sponsored this year's CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children) Gala fundraiser! It was an honor to support such an important cause that helps children in need in our community.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the event. Your support helps make a difference in the lives of children who need it most. We are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful event and to give back to our community.
Budget Blinds Of Lincoln Supports CASA
Budget Blinds Of Lincoln has supported CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children) for the past 10 years. Since doing a solo benefit climb of Mt Kilimanjaro for the organization in 2010, John Mackenzie, owner of Budget Blinds of Omaha & Lincoln, organized a 5.8K Run to Benefit CASA (5.8K - the height of Kilimanjaro) to further raise awareness and money for CASA.
Volunteer Day!
The Budget Blinds of Omaha and Lincoln ownership group along with our Director of Installations took upgraded the aging and tattered blinds at Sacred Heart School Omaha in North Omaha with 60+ brand new beautiful roller shades.
Least of My Brethren
Budget Blinds of Lincoln donated two heaping pickup truck loads of new blinds to Least of My Brethren which works to help the homeless in the Omaha Metro to get a meal, get an apartment, and find a job.
Nebraska CASA Association
Our owner John MacKenzie was recently elected to serve a 3 year term on the board of Nebraska CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children). John has supported CASA since he did a benefit climb of Mt Kilimanjaro for them 10 years ago. John and the entire team support the vital work CASA does in protecting our children from abuse and neglect. In fact a portion of every residential sale of our window treatments goes to NE CASA. Heart & Home
Heart&Home pursuits included awarding a franchise business worth over $100,000 to a veteran. We partnered with Working Wardrobes to provide job training, placement and wardrobe services to give those in need the chance to take their place in the workforce. Home Franchise Concepts (HFC), parent company of Budget Blinds, has organized food and clothing drives, been involved with Wounded Warriors Canada and Homes for Our Troops.
Home for Our Troops
Budget Blinds, in partnership with Springs Window Fashions, is proud to be the official window coverings supplier for Homes for Our Troops (HFOT), a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to build and donate specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans to enable them to rebuild their lives. Through this partnership we provide custom window coverings and measuring and installation services in every home HFOT builds.
