    Owners

    Budget Blinds of Kent is co-owned by Shad & Lisa Mattingly and Paul & Cassy Moorhead. Together they bring years of experience and expertise to the window treatment business, and are passionate about helping customers beautify their homes by designing their window coverings!

    In their free time, they like to stay active! Shad enjoys air paragliding and scuba diving; Lisa spends her free time immersed in a good yoga session, hiking, and also enjoys scuba diving. Paul likes golfing, basketball, and CrossFit; Cassy is into hiking, camping, and being outdoors.

    Install Manager

    Phillip “PJ” Sablan joined the Budget Blinds team in February of 2021 and is excited to be starting with a family owned local company. He loves seeing new homes every day and making sure each customer gets personal attention to make sure they are happy with their install!

     

    PJ was born in Saipan and grew up in Oahu, Hawaii where he was an accomplished baseball player. He even spent time traveling and playing with the Saipan National team. He moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2019 with his partner Chloe and he continues to enjoy playing on a traveling softball team and following his favorite team – the Boston Red Sox.

     

    PJ and Chloe are anxiously awaiting the newest member of their family…a baby girl!

    Design Consultant

    Buddy Busser joined the Budget Blinds team in November of 2021 and is excited to be a part of a family owned business serving the local community. He has served the greater Federal Way area in the financial realm as a small business specialist for the previous 4 years. He is looking forward to continuing that impact with an opportunity to serve with an actual small business. Buddy loves adding value and expertise to customers with custom solutions for their homes. Buddy is a PNW native and grew up here as well as Colorado. He has a passion for helping others and his outside time is dedicated to faith, fitness, and music with a gratitude for life. He also loves Reeses Peanut Butter Cup cheescake and Russell Wilson is still his quarterback.
