Why Budget Blinds of Indian River County

Mark and Kim moved to the Treasure Coast in late 2008. While Mark continued to work in corporate America, Kim re-established her mental health therapy practice in Vero Beach. After taking an early retirement from IBM, Mark wanted to start his own company in hopes to serve our Treasure Coast. Having renovated multiple homes, Kim and Mark have always been interested in real estate, home remodeling, and home décor. The opportunity to join the Budget Blinds team arose, and Mark is now serving customers from Port St. Lucie to Cocoa. 

Penelope is our Office Manager and will greet you if you stop by our showroom! Penelope came to us as a temporary employee, and quickly became a part of the Budget Blinds family in early 2020. With past experience as an event planner, she can now share her love of design with customers that visit our showroom. She is passionate about environmental sustainability, and is excited to share the eco-friendly window treatment options available at Budget Blinds. She loves helping in any way that she can and being a part of a local small business.

Maxx is our dynamic Customer Liaison who joined the team in March 2023. Maxx is the go-to guy for coordinating with the design and installation teams to ensure seamless customer experiences. With a background in Business Administration and Installation, plus extensive experience in customer service and project management, Maxx brings top-notch communication, problem-solving, and client relations skills to the team. 

Originally from Miami, FL, and now loving life in Vero Beach for the past 20 years, Maxx thrives on connecting with customers and seeing their spaces transform. Outside of work, you'll find him enjoying outdoor adventures and diving into DIY home improvement projects. His favorite window treatment? The chic and functional Normal Smart Drape, of course! 

Christy is one of our amazing Senior Design Consultants, focusing on serving the Port St. Lucie, Rockledge, and Indian River County communities. She takes great care in helping clients find the perfect window treatment for their unique needs and preferences. Christy's eye for design and problem-solving skills help her excel in her role as a Design Consultant. 

When Christy isn't helping clients find the window coverings of their dreams, she loves to be outdoors, rollerblade, and spend time with her son! Fun fact; Christy's favorite window treatment is shutters because their classic and clean design elevates any home! 

Cassie joined us in 2016 and has supported our online presence and digital marketing efforts ever since! As a Vero Beach native, she has enjoyed connecting Budget Blinds to our community through social media. Her favorite part of the job is seeing our customers beautiful new blinds, shades, shutters, or drapes installed in their new homes! Cassie loves being a part of our tight-knit team to respond to the needs of our customers. You might just see her at our Vero Beach showroom snapping some new photos!
