Grab marshmallows, Rice Krispies cereal, butter, various fall food coloring and a selection of leaf cookie cutters to create this yummy treat with your kiddos. You can find all the directions you’ll need to make these delicious leaves here. These fall Rice Krispie treat leaves will look like autumn on a plate!

Painted Acorns

Do you have acorns that are falling from trees in your neighborhood? Enjoy collecting a bucket full of acorns before painting them a range of autumn colors with your kids this fall. You can also buy acorns if you don’t want to gather them yourself. Simply bake the acorns in the oven for a few hours to make sure they are sterilized and ready to paint! Use acrylic craft paints to paint your acorns (green, gold, orange, blue, red)— let your kids creativity run wild! Set them aside to dry and you are done. The acorns look adorable in a wooden bowl for a centerpiece on your coffee or dining table. You can even glue them to homemade Thanksgiving cards, table place cards and more!

Fall Leaves Garland

Have the kids help cut out felt leaves to make the cutest fall leaf garland for your home. You can use a variety of colors and create any pattern you desire. Stitch the leaves together with some yarn or twine (great project to do while watching a movie or waiting for some cookies to bake!) and tie the ends in knots to prevent fraying. Hang on your mantel or doorway and enjoy your beautiful garland.

We hope these fun-filled fall crafts will make your kids smile this season! Enjoy the crisp air and quality time with your family while you can.
